CASE STUDIES
The project team within SA engineering was engaged by BHP to assist with a modular solution for there bore-field Diesel engine and pump arrangements . Over a 12 month period SAE assisted with design and process ideas to bring the project to life, utilising our 20 plus years experience in remote bore field operations.
We recently had a client bring in some mechanical components for a complete overhaul. As a result, the team at SA Engineering completely stripped the components, carried out non-destructive testing on all components. We then reclaimed all bearing journals, rebuilt the hydraulic cylinders, blast and painted, reassembled the parts, then finally conducted a function test. In this instance,
SA Engineering were approached to carry out a range of line boring services on a specific machine and application. The client previously struggled with not having enough space to facilitate the line boring operation.
